A Great Partnership

In early March 2020, due to a rise in food insecurity throughout our community; our church, New Hope Bible Chapel, reached out to the Community Services Director, Jackie Prime, to offer assistance. In response to the need, we organized a volunteer base of 14 individuals to man the increased hours of operation at the Food Pantry.

When it became known that the Town of Templeton no longer had the resources to operate the food pantry on a larger scale, they published a Request for Interest for any group who would like to assume operation of the Food Pantry.

New Hope responded to the RFI and fulfilled all the requirements of the Town. As a result, since November 1, 2020; New Hope Bible Chapel has been formally overseeing the operation of the Templeton Food Pantry.

It has been and continues to be a great honor and blessing to partner with our community in this endeavor.
